Taylor Phillips

K-12 Spanish Teacher at ECA

Here at Excel Christian Academy, we value language learning and its importance to a student’s growth and development, even after graduation. My goal in starting a chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to build a deeper understanding of the Spanish language and culture and expose students to Spanish-speaking communities in their area. I want our students to not only be able to speak the language but build a sense of community around it. We do this by guiding students through cultural experiences, serving in the community, and showing students career opportunities they can pursue with Spanish.
